Graphics drivers on gts 450 failing?

Before I had this graphics card I had an ATI Radeon HD 5770 in my computer.. well, I replaced it because it continually had failing drivers. It all started with the 5770 when I was playing League of Legends and then all the sudden everything seem to be "stretching out." It seemed that the characters and building and stuff had a graphic coming out of them that seemed to stretch out and stick to my character. Well, then I logged in to WoW and the sky seemed like the sky was all pix-elated and BLUE when it should have been orange. I then said enough was enough and I went over to Nvidia because ATI sucks acorns when it comes to service and quality. Well, I have had this card maybe 4 months and it's starting to the do EXACT same thing. Could there be another problem with my system other than graphics cards that is making them fail? Or maybe worse, just killing my cards all together? I have tried updating drivers several times and nothing has changed. The only time it does this stuff is when I am trying to play games. Any ideas?
